CARDIO BARRE
Start with a fun dance style warmup into a cardio section, moving to the barre for exercises, then to the floor. Sure to work your body. You can use a chair, foam roller or counter top for the barre.
CARDIO BARRE w/ Strength and Pilates
Same as Cardio Barre with the addition of light hand weights and Pilates exercises for the core
This class focuses on strength training, balance and core. Every class is a little different. Most of the workout is using only body weight. However if you have some dumbbells, bands, etc they will be included. Sneakers, mat and water
Combines strength and cardio movements with upper, lower body,& core exercises. You will need your sneakers, dumbbells and a mat. (If you don't have weights, you can use water jugs, laundry detergent and soup cans). Will also incorporate paper plates, bungee cords and a chair in some classes.
This class combines cardio, conditioning and yoga balance/stretch moves.The goal is to get a piece of cardio, conditioning and yoga in each circuit to get a full body workout without feeling stiff or sore the next day. At the end of each class there is a short stretch and meditation if you choose to stay. You will need sneakers, a set of light, medium, heavy weights (water jugs, cans of beans etc if you don't have weights).a water bottle, mat and a sense of humor!
Get ready to "adore your core"!! We will work every muscle and fiber that supports and protects your spine: neck to knees! Class varies on equipment... Gliders (socks or towels work on wood floors, paper plates on rugs), light weights (canned goods, water bottles, wine bottles), yoga block (shoe box, rolled of paper towels, rolled up towel). No shoes required unless you prefer them for support.
Get ready for an hour of Cardio and Core that will have you feeling like a rockstar! Working the whole body from head to toe without any toys, just your bodyweight.
All the Pilates classes taught by Beth Johnson, owner of Energy Within. Pilates is a physical fitness system developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. The benefits of Pilates include: increased strength of core, lower back, hips and buttocks. Depending on the class, you will need a mat (pilates Mat), foam roller( foam roller class), bender ball and band (small equipment class)
